The All-in-One Kitchen Solution
Originally conceived for university students in cramped dorms, the project was further refined through the firsthand experience of van life, where every square centimeter is vital.
It condenses an entire kitchen’s worth of tools into a single, cohesive, and stackable unit, transforming a collection of bulky items into a streamlined, portable entity.
The design philosophy focuses on providing a professional cooking experience—whether in a tiny student kitchenette, a nomadic van, or a remote campsite.
By nesting every component inside the primary cooking pot, UNIVERSIKIT eliminates clutter and ensures that essential tools are always organized and protected during travel.
Materials & Components
The material palette was carefully selected to balance durability, hygiene, and a premium aesthetic:
- Cooking Core: A professional-grade Granite-coated Pot and Pan for superior non-stick performance and heat distribution.
- The Prep Tools: A custom-fit Aluminum Colander with a precision-perforated pattern and a Treated Bamboo Cutting Board that doubles as a protective base or lid.
- Dining for Two: * Ceramic Plates: Bringing a touch of home-like elegance to any environment.
- Tritan™ Glasses: Made from premium Tritan™ co-polyester, these glasses offer the crystal clarity of glass while being virtually indestructible, BPA-free, and impact-resistant.
- Storage: An integrated Lunch Box for leftovers or meals on the go, plus a full Cutlery Set tucked securely within the internal layers
