Modular Ceramic System Special Mention – MIDEC International Ceramic Design Award
FFreedom within Neutral Form Chain is a modular ceramic system that redefines the relationship between the user and the domestic object.
The project stems from a challenge to the traditional concept of “fixed function”: it possesses no predetermined purpose but instead offers itself as a neutral, adaptable tool capable of responding to the spontaneous needs of its environment.

Modularity and Interaction The essence of Chain lies in its fundamental element: a ceramic module designed to be aggregated and linked without formal constraints.
The chain structure allows for total freedom of configuration, transforming the object from a sculptural element into a functional tool. While the project finds its genesis in the kitchen environment, its metamorphic nature allows it to inhabit any space in the home.

A Functional Application
The Fruit Bowl In its application for the table, the modules of Chain intertwine to create an organic vessel. By hooking the various elements together, the chain can close upon itself or layer up, giving life to a sculptural fruit bowl that plays with the voids and solids of the ceramic material.

Every project is treated as a partnership, with transparent communication, thoughtful planning and a focus on long-term value rather than quick fixes.
